Dear Messengers:

I will arrive at Glacier National Park on Wednesday so I shared Christ at MOA preemptively.  I reunited with a Christian gentleman named Stacy who resides at a sober house near Harbor Light Center.  Stacy previously abused alcohol and cocaine; Foster's Bitter was my nemesis.  The devotional from that morning pierced my heart.  The MOA Transit Center was quite loud outdoors so I shouted above the ambient noise 'Hunger – that sense of inner emptiness – can weaken our discernment as we make decisions.  It convinces us that it's okay to settle for anything that fills us up, even if it causes us to take a bite out of someone.  God wants more for us than a life lived at the mercy of our appetites.  He wants us to be filled with Christ's love so that everything we do flows from the peace and stability He provides.'  [Excerpt from Tecarta Bible DOTD 06/29/19]  I suddenly perceived the numerous bystanders exposed to secondhand pillar of cloud while I preached my personal testimony.  Their bus departed but God nurtures our seeds planted.  Stacy asked to join our Messengers at Harbor Light Center this Friday then attend Church with my family upon our return.  'Love God.  Love people.  Preach the Gospel.  Make disciples.'  [Firebase Movement]  In Christ, Jason.

Prov 27:7 One who is full loathes honey from the comb, but to the hungry even what is bitter tastes sweet.

Last Friday at the Minneapolis Jail was awesome!  We read 'Sometimes we treat evangelism as a heavy burden.  Instead of cheerfully scattering seed everywhere, we become soil testers, trying to determine whether or not the seed will flourish even before we plant.  But God has called us to plant the message of the gospel in whatever field he places us.  It is the Lord of the harvest who nourishes the tiny seeds and causes them to grow.'  [Excerpt from Tecarta DOTD 07/16/18]  We encountered Jayson [who I assumed was Muslim] but was agnostic due to coerced Roman Catholicism.  Convicted was I.  Jayson embodied the seed that 'fell on rocky places'.  I shared the full Gospel Message then my personal testimony.  I queried 'What would prevent you from surrendering your life to Jesus Christ right now?'  Jayson lamented 'But I have lost so much.'  I declared Mt 16:24-26.  BOOM!  The Holy Spirit reigned down upon us as we fell to the ground.  Lk 23:42-43 pierced my heart.  I turned to stare deeply through Margarito's eyes – the windows to our soul.  He gasped; eyed instantly dilated.  I declared 'Follow Jesus.'  BOOM!  Both men poured out their hearts in surrender to 'the Lord of the harvest'.  In Christ, Jason.

Mt 13:5-6 Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil.  It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow.  But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root.

Mt 16:24-26 Then Jesus said to his disciples, 'Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.  For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it.  What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?  Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?'

Lk 23:42-43 Then he said, 'Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.'  Jesus answered him, 'Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.'

Our children are dying. I need your help to share Christ with the lost.

Dt 24:16 Parents are not to be put to death for their children, nor children put to death for their parents; each will die for their own sin.
