Dear Messengers:
Last Wednesday at MOA was awesome! We corporately prayed to plant and water seeds to be nurtured by God. Upon arrival at MOA, I specifically prayed to encounter 'hard soil'. God answers our prayers. I opened my eyes to find Jerome, a homeless gentleman whose 'heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes.' [Mt 13:15] I listened to Jerome rant about the Church, the Bible and corrupt society. Mt 6:22-23 pierced my heart. Surveilled by MOA security guards, I portrayed a personal relationship with Jesus Christ antithetical to institutional religion. I truly beheld The Parable of the Sower. Jerome declined my invitation to Church but accepted the Father's Love Letter with my cellphone number. To be nurtured by God. Please pray.
1 Cor 3:6-9 I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow. So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labor. For we are co-workers in God's service; you are God's field, God's building.
Mt 6:22-23 The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eyes are unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!
Last Friday at the Minneapolis Jail was awesome! We read 'C. S. Lewis concluded, though, that it was better to accept 'the distraction as [our] present problem and [lay] that before [God] and make it the main theme of [our] prayers.' A persistent worry or even a sinful thought that disrupts a prayer may become the centerpiece of our discussion with God. God wants us to be real as we talk with Him and open up about our deepest concerns, fears, and struggles.' [Excerpt from Our Daily Bread 09/08/18] In Quad 9A, we dissected authentic prayer but Joseph appeared distraught. I prayed to be led by the Holy Spirit then dismissed the men. Except Joseph. He cried out 'My remorse and shame devour me. God cannot forgive me. I have no hope. I want to die.' I shared my personal testimony then we shattered these lies with Truth and Love. I spoke Identity unto Joseph. BOOM! The Holy Spirit reigned down upon us.
Later in Quad 8A, we unpacked the same ODB excerpt. Adam is a Roman Catholic millennial we have known several months. Although I have shared the full Gospel Message a dozen times, Adam remained enslaved by Roman Catholic dogma. We devoured authentic prayer then I prayed to be led by the Holy Spirit. I shared that my son Adam rejects God [our Heavenly Father] partially because he rejects me [an earthly father]. I spoke identity unto Adam then declared 'Adam, Jesus loves you and so do I.' BOOM! An hour apart, both men fell to the ground to declare Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. In Christ, Jason.
Ps 69:1-3 Save me, O God, for the waters have come up to my neck. I sink in the miry depths, where there is no foothold. I have come into the deep waters; the floods engulf me. I am worn out calling for help; my throat is parched. My eyes fail, looking for my God.
Lk 11:11-13 Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead? Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!
Our children are dying. I need your help to share Christ with the lost.
Dt 24:16 Parents are not to be put to death for their children, nor children put to death for their parents; each will die for their own sin.
