Dear Messengers:
Last Wednesday at MOA was awesome! One theme emerged during our worship and prayer – lies. I encountered Vince, an agnostic engineer scarred by Roman Catholic apostasy – lies. I shared my kindred journey then my personal testimony. I later spoke with Rain, a Pastor's daughter who abandoned God due to familial dysfunction – lies. I similarly projected my earthly father's attributes upon our Heavenly Father. I lastly found an inebriated homeless gentleman named Tim who stated that God is from another planet [but was not Mormon] – lies. I shared Truth and Love then attempted to share the full Gospel Message but Tim did 'claim to be without sin'. I was astounded but expounded upon lust; he replied 'but that is only natural.' I prayed to be led by the Holy Spirit then recounted my addiction to alcohol. Tim was instantly sobered. My brother ultimately inquired about MN Adult & Teen Challenge then asked to attend Church with my family this Sunday. 'Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.' [Jn 8:32]
Jn 8:44 You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
1 Jn 1:8-10 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us.
Last Friday at the Minneapolis Jail was awesome! We read 'But each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed. Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.' [Jas 1:14-15] Shawn stated 'I believe in God but I don't believe in religion. There are many faiths and there are many paths to God.' I shared the full Gospel Message then we distinguished institutional religion from a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. I declared 'Buddha is dead. Muhammad is dead. Only Jesus Christ lives. None have been healed through Buddha nor Muhammad. But a young woman was raised from the dead through our prayers to Jesus Christ.' Shawn was instantly sobered. I shared my personal testimony then portrayed the Jesus Christ / life raft analogy. 'Shawn, what would prevent you from surrendering your life to Jesus Christ right now?' He shouted 'My pride!' I shouted 'Satan comes only to steal and kill and destroy. God sent us to keep you out of hell!' BOOM! The Holy Spirit exploded upon us. Shawn wept. We laid hands upon our brother as he declared Jesus Christ 'the way and the truth and the life.' Jn 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
Jn 14:6 Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'
Our children are dying. I need your help to share Christ with the lost.
Dt 24:16 Parents are not to be put to death for their children, nor children put to death for their parents; each will die for their own sin.
MOA Outreach
Wednesdays from 6:30pm to 9pm
Our outreach is based at the Mall of America. We meet at the Institute for Chiropractic Rehabilitation PA at 8200 Humboldt Ave S STE 204, Bloomington, MN 55431 prior to 6:30pm. After worship and prayer, we drive to the Mall of America east parking ramp. We share Jesus Christ in the mall, at the MOA Transit Center or on the light rail. Minneapolis Jail Outreach
Fridays from 6pm to 10pm
Our outreach is based at the Minneapolis Jail and on the light rail. We meet at Mall of America Transit Center PRIOR TO 6pm. We depart on the METRO Blue Line train at 6:03pm SHARP and share Jesus Christ on the train down to the Minneapolis Jail. We then encounter men within the jail, their loved ones downstairs or individuals downtown. At about 9:15pm, we share Christ on the train back to MOA. B-Rock Outreach
First Sunday every month from 11am to 1:30pm
Our outreach is based within the Bethel's Rock Church community. We meet at Bethel's Rock Church at 7601 Girard Ave S, Richfield, MN 55423 to attend the 9:45am service. At 11am we proceed downstairs to hold Evangelism Training before we share Jesus Christ with our neighbors. My prayer is to replicate the B-Rock Outreach to mobilize THE Church – the body of Christ.
