Dear Messengers:
Last Sunday at Harbor Light Center was awesome! I recently founded God doG [a hot dog served with the Holy Spirit] to nourish 'the least of these' to share Jesus Christ. Our mission statement is Mt 25:37-40. Last Sunday, my dear Ministry friend Steven Goff invited me to observe their Park Assembly Church outreach at Harbor Light Center. I encountered a stoic shelter resident named David. 'Hi. My name is Jason and I am with a local Ministry here to pray with people. What can I pray with you about?' Tears rained down. David poured out 'I was just released from HCMC. I tried to climb that fence to jump off the bridge. I want to die.' I stared at the bridge while I prayed to be led by the Holy Spirit. I declared 'David, God sent me to rescue you!' I shared the full Gospel Message then my personal testimony. I asked 'What would prevent you from surrendering your life to Christ right now?' BOOM! The Holy Spirit reigned down upon us. David fell to the sidewalk then shouted 'God, you answered my prayers!' My brother cried out to Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior – and Shelter. David plans to join my family at Church this Sunday.
Last Wednesday at MOA was awesome! I encountered a withdrawn homeless gentleman named Dan. I sat down on the dirty concrete nearby but the infrequent responses were monosyllabic. Dan's duffle bag began to move. He responded 'It's a snake' but was actually a Manchester dog named 'No Cash'. As we spoke about the puppy, Dan's heart began to soften. He shared stories, showed 'baby' pictures then ultimately revealed 'my only friend'. Our conversation turned to Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit revealed that Dan felt too dirty inside to be loved by Christ. I shared Truth and Love then spoke Identity unto my brother's life. I invited my friend to join my family at Church this Sunday but 'The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy'. [Jn 10:10] Dan despaired 'Look at me! I am too dirty to attend Church!' I cried as Mt 25:37-40 pierced my heart. I shared Jesus' heart but then promised clean clothes and a shower to comfort my brother. Dan plans to join my family at Church this Sunday.
Last Friday at the Minneapolis Jail was awesome! Almost three years ago, Stan and I met a young, sweet heroin addict named Mackenzie. Last Friday, I encountered a young, scared heroin addict named Dustin. Their parallel stories pierced my heart. I shared the full Gospel Message, emphasizing absolute, total surrender then shared my personal testimony. I asked Dustin 'What would prevent you from surrendering your life to Christ right now?' Three years apart, both youth responded 'Heroin'. I shared Mackenzie's testimony then purposely shouted 'Mackenzie, you desperately need rehab but you infinitely more need Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior! You need Jesus more and you need Jesus first!' Dustin shouted 'I'm an important person. I can't give up all my stuff.' I proclaimed the Jesus Christ / life raft analogy then declared 'God requires our absolute, total surrender. Unless you renounce 'all your stuff' you will drown in the ocean of your sin.' I prayed to be led by the Holy Spirit then shouted 'If you die tonight – Heaven or hell?' Dustin screamed 'Heroin has ruled my life since I was thirteen! What must I do?' I shouted 'Dustin, you desperately need rehab but you infinitely more need Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior! You need Jesus more and you need Jesus first!' BOOM! The Holy Spirit exploded upon us. Dustin shrieked then fell to the ground, sobbing. He began 'Jesus, I ran away from you my whole life but no more! Jesus, I need you most and I need you first!' In Christ, Jason.
Our children are dying. I need your help to share Christ with the lost.
Dt 24:16 Parents are not to be put to death for their children, nor children put to death for their parents; each will die for their own sin.
