Dear Messengers:

Last Wednesday at MOA was awesome!  Twenty months ago, I encountered a homeless, blind gentleman named Greg.  Greg was a former Hells Angels President who shared about USP Leavenworth Federal Prison, drug addiction, murder... and terminal bone cancer.  Greg had previously surrendered his life to Christ without reservation and he fully embraced his adoption as a child of God.  That night, we discussed 'the other criminal'.  Last night, Greg shared that he and Linda [fiancé] were about to move to Maddison Wisconsin to live with family.  We spoke about redemption through Christ Jesus.  This former Hells Angels President who ordered 'hits' upon rival gangs, grieved a dear friend named Johnny.  One man from the 169 Minnesotans who died from lack of housing in 2017.  I spoke Life and Destiny unto my brother.  I encouraged Greg [and by extension, Linda] to encounter 'the least of these brothers and sisters of mine' in Madison to share Jesus Christ.  'Love God.  Love people.  Preach the Gospel.  Make disciples.'  [Firebase Movement]

Luke 23:39-43 One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him: 'Aren’t you the Messiah?  Save yourself and us!'  But the other criminal rebuked him.  'Don’t you fear God,' he said, 'since you are under the same sentence?  We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve.  But this man has done nothing wrong.'  Then he said, 'Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.'  Jesus answered him, 'Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.'

Mt 25:37-40 Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink?  When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you?  When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?'  The King will reply, 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.'

Last Friday at the Minneapolis Jail was awesome!  We encountered Isaac, an intelligent gentleman who professed Jesus Christ.  He was raised Roman Catholic but rejected religion due to its hypocrisy.  Me too.  I previously embraced atheism; Isaac adopted Unitarian Universalism.  I sought Truth; Isaac sought Love.  But Jesus Christ is Truth AND Love.  Unitarian Universalism 'teaches that everyone of all faiths will be saved and that Jesus is not the only means of salvation.  Human reason and experience should be the final authority in determining spiritual truth, is perhaps the most revealing of the character of Unitarian Universalists.  Instead of God and his word being the final authority on truth and error, or right and wrong, Unitarian Universalists subject God and his word to their understanding, feeling, and reason.  It can plainly be seen that this is a religion based on personal hopes and desires and not upon the Bible.'  [Matt Slick / Christian Apologetics & Research Ministry]  I shared the full Gospel Message, emphasizing 'there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.'  I shared the Jesus Christ / Life Raft Analogy, pointing to Jesus Christ as 'the narrow gate'.  Genesis 17 seared my heart.  I declared 'Your name is Isaac, not Ishmael.'  BOOM!  The Holy Spirit reigned down upon us.  Instantly sobered, Isaac thanked us profusely.  Truth AND Love.  In Christ, Jason.

Acts 4:8-12 Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them: 'Rulers and elders of the people!  If we are being called to account today for an act of kindness shown to a man who was lame and are being asked how he was healed, then know this, you and all the people of Israel: It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead, that this man stands before you healed.  Jesus is 'the stone you builders rejected, which has become the cornerstone.'  Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.'

Mt 7:13-14 The Narrow and Wide Gates.  Enter through the narrow gate.  For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.  But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

Gen 17:19-22 Then God said, 'Yes, but your wife Sarah will bear you a son, and you will call him Isaac.  I will establish my covenant with him as an everlasting covenant for his descendants after him.  And as for Ishmael, I have heard you: I will surely bless him; I will make him fruitful and will greatly increase his numbers.  He will be the father of twelve rulers, and I will make him into a great nation.  But my covenant I will establish with Isaac, whom Sarah will bear to you by this time next year.'  When he had finished speaking with Abraham, God went up from him.

Rom 9:6-9 It is not as though God's word had failed.  For not all who are descended from Israel are Israel.  Nor because they are his descendants are they all Abraham's children.  On the contrary, 'It is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned.'  In other words, it is not the children by physical descent who are God's children, but it is the children of the promise who are regarded as Abraham's offspring.  For this was how the promise was stated: 'At the appointed time I will return, and Sarah will have a son.'

Our children are dying. I need your help to share Christ with the lost.

Dt 24:16 Parents are not to be put to death for their children, nor children put to death for their parents; each will die for their own sin.
