Dear Messengers:
Last Wednesday at MOA was awesome! I encountered a homeless Native American [Ojibwe and Lakota] gentleman named Daniel. He refused prayer but shared about 'The Great Spirit' [Wakan Tanka]. I shared that my in-laws previously practiced traditional Hmong religion. My wife was born unto Animism but her family heard about Jesus Christ and were saved. I prayed to be led by the Holy Spirit then declared 'You must have friends whose family practiced traditional Native American religion but heard about Jesus Christ and were saved.' Pregnant pause. I literally felt the paradigm shift 'like the prison doors flew open'. Daniel was hesitant whether to join my family at Church this Sunday but provided a cellphone number and the last name 'Smith'. I was disappointed by the blatant deception but noticed Daniel's Adult Shelter Connect Community Card before I departed – 'Daniel Smith'. Beloved, we plant and water seeds but God nurtures them. Please pray.
Rom 10:14-15 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: 'How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!'
1 Cor 3:5-7 What, after all, is Apollos? And what is Paul? Only servants, through whom you came to believe – as the Lord has assigned to each his task. I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow. So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow.
Last Friday at the Minneapolis Jail was awesome! We encountered an Eastern Orthodox gentleman named Phil who shared childhood memories. 'You are a demon. You will forever be a demon. You will never be released from purgatory. You will rot in hell.' [Although the Eastern Orthodox Church denies purgatory.] I shared the full Gospel Message then declared 'Your parents were wrong. Those are lies from Satan who comes only to steal and kill and destroy.' We shone light in the darkness to expose 'the father of lies' then spoke True Identity unto our brother. Phil wrestled with God. I asked 'What would prevent you from surrendering your life to Jesus Christ right now?' He responded 'But if I sin again I am a hypocrite. I will burn in hell.' I shouted 'In the name of Jesus Christ I rebuke these demonic lies!' BOOM! The Holy Spirit crashed down upon us. Our brother fell prostrate to the ground in surrender to receive True Identity as Child of God. In Christ, Jason.
Jn 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
Jn 1:4-5 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
Acts 16:18 She kept this up for many days. Finally Paul became so annoyed that he turned around and said to the spirit, 'In the name of Jesus Christ I command you to come out of her!' At that moment the spirit left her.
Our children are dying. I need your help to share Christ with the lost.
Dt 24:16 Parents are not to be put to death for their children, nor children put to death for their parents; each will die for their own sin.
