Dear Messengers:
Last Wednesday at MOA was awesome! I planned to show my Baptismal Testimony from August 2004 during our worship and prayer but deleted it due to fear. A young BGU student privately shared her fears with me at 6:20pm. Lk 12:4-5 convicted my heart. Moments before we began, I retrieved said video. Although I have spoken my personal testimony innumerable times, I sobbed as I watched the pain and abject horror in my eyes. I share it with you because I love you. But Jesus Christ loves you perfectly.
Perhaps thousands were at MOA last night who will perish eternally without Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior. Beloved, humble yourself to those who need to hear. 'They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.' After our outreach, that BGU student approached. Through our tears, Jesus Christ heals.
Eph 6:12-13 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
Rev 12:10-11 Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: 'Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Messiah. For the accuser of our brothers and sisters, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down. They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.'
Last Friday at the Minneapolis Jail was awesome! We read 'When the apostle Paul found himself on the 'wrong side of freedom, he didn't lament his situation. In a powerful letter to the church in Philippi, he wrote, 'I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that what has happened to me has actually served to advance the gospel.' Paul noted how his chains had led to 'the whole palace guard' learning about Christ. And others had gained confidence to share the good news of Jesus.' [Excerpt from Our Daily Bread 11/20/18] Timothy brought four gentlemen from Quad 9A. Robert believed in God but refused surrender to Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior. I shared the full Gospel Message then the Jesus Christ / life raft analogy but Robert was paralyzed with fear. He was scared / scarred by fathers – Roman Catholic priestly apostasy and parental rape. Quite late, I offered to dismiss our group except Robert. Another gentleman named Joseph shouted 'But what about me!' then descended upon Stan. 'Joseph shared about the pain of being rejected by his family and his fear that he wasn't certain that he was going to heaven. I explained that family members can fail us and we can fail them; however, the true source of unfailing love is God. We talked more about surrendering to Christ.' Stan led Joseph in surrender to Christ. Our brother declared 'I can feel the Holy Spirit overflow my heart!' I turned back to Robert then declared 'Jesus Christ stands before you but you choose eternal death in the water.' BOOM! The Holy Spirit reigned down upon us. Robert fell to the ground writhing with emotion then cried out to Jesus Christ as Abba Father. Peace instantly transcended. 'And as he was praying, heaven was opened and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove.' [Lk 3:21] In Christ, Jason.
Jas 2:19 You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that – and shudder.
Rom 10:9-10 If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.
Our children are dying. I need your help to share Christ with the lost.
Dt 24:16 Parents are not to be put to death for their children, nor children put to death for their parents; each will die for their own sin.
