Dear Messengers:
Last Wednesday at MOA was awesome! During our worship and prayer, I observed Baptism of the Holy Spirit. While Spirit Break Out blared, I heard Speaking in Tongues progressively eclipse the music. As the song waned, I suddenly discerned those frenetic words emanated from within me. I felt what seemed to be lightning bolts stream from my fingertips; I felt supernaturally endowed yet surreal. The Tongues subsided as I entered the MOA Transit Center. I prayed to be led by the Holy Spirit then opened my eyes to behold a young homeless gentleman yonder. Our eyes locked. BOOM! The Holy Spirit reigned down to convict this man's heart at forty paces. As I approached, John cried out 'I can't believe this is happening!' We boarded the Blue Line train where I shared the full Gospel Message, emphasizing absolute repentance. I declared 'John, what would prevent you from surrendering your life to Jesus Christ right now?' Pregnant pause. He responded 'I am too vile. I am enslaved by meth. I am out here committing crime.' I retorted [Rom 5:6-8] then shared my personal testimony. I depicted the Jesus Christ / life raft analogy as we approached Target Field. We debarked the train then I repeated my call to repentance. BOOM! Tears streamed down as we fell to the dirty, wet ground. We embraced as John cried out to Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior 'as the Spirit enabled them.' Amen!
Acts 2:1-4 When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.
Last Friday at the Minneapolis Jail was awesome! We dissected Jesus Anointed at Bethany then read 'What thing that we consider costly and dear might the Lord want us to offer up to him: A relationship? A habit? A cherished possession? Perhaps it is one of the gifts God has given us that lies hidden or saved for use for a time that never comes. These very treasures could bring light to restore someone's faith, to touch someone's heart, to change a life. One of these important things could be the very 'jar' that he wants us to break before him.' [Excerpt from Tecarta Bible DOTD] We brought out our idols to be 'exposed by the light'. The Lord then circumcised our hearts. 'But everything exposed by the light becomes visible – and everything that is illuminated becomes a light.' In Christ, Jason.
Lev 26:1 Do not make idols or set up an image or a sacred stone for yourselves, and do not place a carved stone in your land to bow down before it. I am the Lord your God.
Dt 30:6 The Lord your God will circumcise your hearts and the hearts of your descendants, so that you may love him with all your heart and with all your soul, and live.
Eph 5:8-13 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light [for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth] and find out what pleases the Lord. Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. It is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret. But everything exposed by the light becomes visible – and everything that is illuminated becomes a light.
Our children are dying. I need your help to share Christ with the lost.
Dt 24:16 Parents are not to be put to death for their children, nor children put to death for their parents; each will die for their own sin.
MOA Outreach
Wednesdays 6:30pm to 9pm
Our outreach is based at the Mall of America. We meet at the Institute for Chiropractic Rehabilitation PA at 8200 Humboldt Ave S STE 204, Bloomington, MN 55431 prior to 6:30pm. After worship and prayer, we drive to the Mall of America east parking ramp. We share Jesus Christ in the mall, at the MOA Transit Center or on the light rail. Redemption Ministries Outreach
Fridays 6pm to 9pm
Our outreach is based downtown Minneapolis. We meet at Mall of America Transit Center PRIOR TO 6pm. We depart on the METRO Blue Line train at 6:03pm SHARP to share Jesus Christ on the train, the Minneapolis Jail, Hennepin Ave and Harbor Light Center. B-Rock Outreach
Sundays [1st only] 11am to 1pm
Our outreach is based near Bethel's Rock Church. We meet at Bethel's Rock Church at 7601 Girard Ave S, Richfield, MN 55423 to attend the 9:45am service. At 11am we proceed downstairs then share Jesus Christ with our neighbors. My prayer is to replicate the B-Rock Outreach to mobilize THE Church – the body of Christ. God doG Outreach
Sundays [1st and 3rd] 1:30pm to 3pm
Our outreach is based at Harbor Light Center. We meet at Harbor Light Center at 1010 Currie Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55403 to partner with Park Assembly Church. God doG [a hot dog served with the Holy Spirit] was founded to nourish 'the least of these' to share Jesus Christ.
