Dear Messengers:
Last Wednesday at MOA was awesome! I encountered Anna, a young Russian immigrant 'weary and burdened'. I asked Anna 'What can I pray with you about?' She responded with flat affect 'Very bad stuff has happened to me. Very bad. Too painful to talk about.' I attempted to comfort Anna but her pain was too raw. Although she did not elaborate, my Spirit screamed extreme sexual abuse. I shared my personal testimony then described how God had used this crisis in my life to bring me to full surrender to Jesus Christ. Although Anna had grown up in the Russian Orthodox Church she knew not Christ Jesus. I handed Anna 'The Father's Love Letter' and my [Jer 29:11-13] bookmark. As her bus arrived, I starred deep into her eyes — 'the windows to our soul' — then invited her to join my family at Church this Sunday. Her smile spoke volumes. Please pray.
Mt 11:28-30 Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
Last Friday at the Minneapolis Jail was awesome! We read 'Perhaps the point of the proverb [Pr 15:13-15] is that a smile naturally results from the condition of our inner beings.' [Excerpt from Our Daily Bread 12/28/17] We discussed the power of our words to either encourage or annihilate our brothers. Then we examined the condition of our hearts 'For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.' We encountered an apprehensive young man named Leonard who previously attended Shiloh Temple International Ministries [STIM]. I spoke about Love Twin Cities that was headquartered at STIM this past June. I asked whether he knew Nisaa and Jorden BN. Leonard exclaimed 'Nisaa is my cousin; Jordan is like a brother to me.' Only God! I declared that I met Nisaa at Wooddale Church — Edina where I bake 'The Bread of Life' for the STIM Outreach that Jordan founded. BOOM! The Holy Spirit coursed through our hearts. I quoted [Jer 29:11-14] then we poured Truth and Love and Destiny into our brother's very soul. We inducted Leonard into the STIM Outreach then I handed each man another 'Father's Love Letter' and commissioned them to share Jesus Christ with their brothers back in their Quad and to encourage them to come next Friday. 'Love God. Love people. Preach the Gospel. Make disciples.' [Firebase Movement] In Christ, Jason.
Isa 29:13 The Lord says: 'These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Their worship of me is based on merely human rules they have been taught.'
Mt 12:33-35 Make a tree good and its fruit will be good, or make a tree bad and its fruit will be bad, for a tree is recognized by its fruit. You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of. A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him.
Our children are dying. I need your help to share Christ with the lost.
Dt 24:16 Parents are not to be put to death for their children, nor children put to death for their parents; each will die for their own sin.
