Dear Messengers:

Last Wednesday at MOA was awesome!  I encountered Wenona, a homeless Native American woman.  Wenona shared that her grandmother brought her to Church on the Leech Lake Indian Reservation as a child.  I recounted the stories about Jesus that my maternal grandmother, Myrtle, shared with my sister and I a half-century past.  But alas, Wenona's hard life eroded her childhood faith.  But the Lord 'gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.'  Wenona and her son, Dominic, will join my family at Church this Sunday.  Please pray.

Dt 11:18-19 Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads.  Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.

Mt 19:13-15 The Little Children and Jesus.  Then people brought little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them and pray for them.  But the disciples rebuked them.  Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.'  When he had placed his hands on them, he went on from there.

Isa 40:29-31 He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.  Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.  They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Lam 5:21 Restore us to yourself, Lord, that we may return; renew our days as of old.

Last Friday at the Minneapolis Jail was awesome!  As I entered the jail lobby, I noticed a young woman clearly agitated.  I sat down next to her and opened my Bible.  'Hi, my name is Jason.  I am with a local ministry here to share Jesus Christ with the men inside the jail.  What can I pray with you about?'  Francine responded 'A new life.'  I shared 'I know how you feel.  Fifteen years ago, a crisis in my life made me want a new life too, or rather, made me want to end my life.  But God used that crisis to bring me to full surrender to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.  Jesus Christ offers you a new life.  Jesus Christ offers you eternal life.  Through Christ, you are a new creation.'  I handed Francine and her friend Shanae 'The Father's Love Letter' and emailed them this morning [Their phones were confiscated].  God nurtures our seeds planted.  In Christ, Jason.

Jn 3:16-17 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.  For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

2 Cor 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

Our children are dying.  I need your help to share Christ with the lost.

Dt 24:16 Parents are not to be put to death for their children, nor children put to death for their parents; each will die for their own sin.
