Dear Messengers:

Last Wednesday at MOA was awesome!  I prayed to be led by the Holy Spirit.  I opened my eyes to find Foster, a young man who appeared in despair.  Foster asked that I pray for Savannah, a younger sister trapped in an abusive relationship.  These young siblings knew about God academically but never sought personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.  I shared my similar barren relationship with institutional religion.  Then I shared my personal testimony as Foster's bus arrived.  I asked Foster to invite Savannah to join us at Church and handed my brother two [Jer 29:11-13] bookmarks.  Beloved, when we 'practice religion' we eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil rather than from the tree of life.  Only our personal relationship with Jesus Christ provides life 'abundantly'.  [Adapted from Pr. James Biffert 12/24/17]

Gen 2:15-17 The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it.  And the Lord God commanded the man, 'You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.'

Jn 10:10 [NKJV] The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.  I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

Last Friday at the Minneapolis Jail was awesome!  I recognized Kendrick from somewhere but he denied this.  Kendrick never had a father.  He shared 'My daddy died on Christmas three years ago just hours before we planned to meet.'  Kendrick blamed God.  He cried out 'If God was real, why would He do this!'  We spoke about sin and its consequence and redemption.  I shared the full Gospel Message and my personal testimony.  Kendrick shared 'My mother took me to ICCM Life Center [Church] when I was little.  I still attend sometimes.'  Eureka!  I founded 'The Bread of Life' almost five years ago to provide artisan breads to missionaries to help them reach the widow or the fatherless, the alien or the poor to share Jesus Christ.  Three years ago, I received a picture from ICCM Life Center Kendrick holding our bread.  He literally screamed 'I feel like a lost sheep!'  I shouted 'Kendrick, God sent us to find you and to carry you home!'  BOOM!  The Holy Spirit reigned down upon us.  Kendrick dropped to the ground; eyes suddenly dilated.  We laid hands upon our brother as he poured out in surrender to our Good Shepherd.  Then Stan read 'The Parable of the Lost Sheep'.  God wrote it to Kendrick.  In Christ, Jason.

Lk 15:1-7 The Parable of the Lost Sheep.  Now the tax collectors and sinners were all gathering around to hear Jesus.  But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law muttered, 'This man welcomes sinners and eats with them.'  Then Jesus told them this parable: 'Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them.  Doesn't he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it?  And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home.  Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, 'Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.'  I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.'

Our children are dying.  I need your help to share Christ with the lost.

Dt 24:16 Parents are not to be put to death for their children, nor children put to death for their parents; each will die for their own sin.
