Dear Messengers:

Last Wednesday at MOA was awesome!  I encountered Gregory AKA 'Wags', a distraught homeless gentleman somewhat inebriated.  Despite this impairment, the Holy Spirit clearly directed me to this man.  Gregory's girlfriend, Mattie, had been missing since Sunday and he feared their six-year relationship was over.  We called several hospitals and I checked the Minneapolis Jail database with no avail.  [Mattie had no phone.]  'Gregory, how can I pray for you?'  BOOM!  Hardened, weathered eyes filled with tears; he clutched my hands and trembled.  The Holy Spirit poured over us like liquid love, ministering to our brokenness.  Please pray for restoration but that my brother believes our relationship with Christ Jesus as personal Lord and Savior matters most.

Mt 16:24-26 Then Jesus said to his disciples, 'Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.  For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it.  What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?'

Last Friday at the Minneapolis Jail was awesome!  You may remember Kendrick, the gentleman who never had a father but shared 'My daddy died on Christmas four years ago just hours before we planned to meet.'  Tonight, Kendrick blurted out 'My heart is black.  My daughter wants her old daddy back.'  Intense grief and remorse hemorrhaged forth from the wounds incurred from both parent's deaths about four years ago.  Our time was done so I dismissed everyone except Kendrick.  We spoke about calloused hearts but that Jesus Christ heals all wounds.  Stan and I performed CPR on our brother through our prayers.  My left hand literally felt Kendrick's blackened heart resuscitated as we prayed.  I shouted 'Tanayha needs her daddy back.  You must become that man.'  BOOM!  The Holy Spirit reigned down upon us.  I declared 'Once forgiven, we aren't defined by or limited by our past debt.'  [Excerpt from Our Daily Bread 01/08/18]  In Christ, Jason.

Eph 4:18 They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts.

Acts 4:8-10 Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them: 'Rulers and elders of the people!  If we are being called to account today for an act of kindness shown to a man who was lame and are being asked how he was healed, then know this, you and all the people of Israel: It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead, that this man stands before you healed.'

Our children are dying.  I need your help to share Christ with the lost.

Dt 24:16 Parents are not to be put to death for their children, nor children put to death for their parents; each will die for their own sin.
