Dear Messengers:

Last Wednesday at MOA was awesome!  David and Jerry reaped harvest while 'scattering the seed' [Mt 13:1-23] but 'The last man we engaged was Nathan.  He was 'hard ground' as he claimed his god was probably different from ours.  I offered him a copy of the Bible, but he refused it.  He said he will meet God when he dies.  I told him he needs to be ready beforehand to meet Him.  He said he is ready.  We prayed for him afterwards.'

Our sibling in Christ [who requested anonymity] just texted 'Do you know what I just discovered?  Only when we don't have any other choice than to die, [do] we really value life.'  Beloved, please pray that both Nathan and our sibling experience God's Presence, healing and restoration in their lives.

2 Tim 4:1-5 In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of his appearing and his kingdom, I give you this charge: Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage with great patience and careful instruction.  For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine.  Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.  They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.  But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry.

Last Friday at the Minneapolis Jail was awesome!  Although Mika transferred to prison six months ago, we reunited due to a court appearance [writ of habeas corpus].  Mika had tasted various religions consequent to thirty-three foster homes.  I surmised Islamic/Christian/New Age beliefs peppered with pride.  Mika wrote me from prison.  My partial response was 'Mika, you mentioned 'My righteous name is Knowledge.'  My prayer is that you truly comprehend Micah 's prophesy about Jesus Christ and that our 'righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe.'  Jesus loves you!  Your friend, Jason.'  Tonight, we spoke about sin and death and forgiveness.  Mika shared that while in prison 'I had to forgive myself too.'  Stan reiterated that all unforgiveness destroys.  We devoured Psalm 23.  Please pray that Mika 'will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.'  In Christ, Jason.

Rom 3:21-25 Righteousness Through Faith.  But now apart from the law the righteousness of God has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify.  This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe.  There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.  God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood to be received by faith.

Ps 23 [NKJV] The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.  He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.  He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake.  Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.  You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over.  Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Several years ago, Stan and I met a young, sweet girl named Mackenzie who is addicted to heroin.  Her surrender to Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior remains the most intense I have ever experienced.  On Saturday we met Mackenzie's sister Marissa.  We read Psalm 23 but Marissa remained silent.  She had died from a heroin overdose several days earlier.

Our children are dying.  I need your help to share Christ with the lost.

Dt 24:16 Parents are not to be put to death for their children, nor children put to death for their parents; each will die for their own sin.
