Dear Messengers:
Last Wednesday at MOA was awesome! During our worship at the clinic we prayed that the 'scales' would fall from our eyes to perceive our Divine Encounters through God's lens. After prayer at MOA, I opened my eyes to find a young woman seated but departed due to her beauty. God said 'Return'. I dropped in prayer to ascertain that my heart was right before God then went back. 'Hello. My name is Jason. I am with a local Ministry and I would love to pray with you.' Tears poured down. Angie ultimately shared that she feels emotionally abandoned and unloved by her boyfriend Diontae. I comforted Angie about her relationship then asked 'Where are you on your walk with Jesus Christ?' She replied 'I was raised Catholic but I walked away from religion.' I responded 'Me too' then portrayed a personal relationship with Jesus Christ antithetical to institutional religion. I shared my personal testimony but Angie was clearly too distraught about Diontae's emotional withdrawal to have 'ears to hear'. Beloved, we plant and water seeds but God nurtures them. Please pray.
Acts 9:18-19 Immediately, something like scales fell from Saul's eyes, and he could see again. He got up and was baptized, and after taking some food, he regained his strength.
Jn 10:7-10 Therefore Jesus said again, 'Very truly I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep. All who have come before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep have not listened to them. I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
Last Friday at the Minneapolis Jail was awesome but is preempted to share about babies. Beloved, I include Dt 24:16 in every outreach email because I desperately need your help to share Jesus Christ. But aborted babies demand our response. 'If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?' If a baby dies in a womb and no one is around to help her, does she scream? In Christ, Jason.
Jer 31:15 This is what the Lord says: 'A voice is heard in Ramah, mourning and great weeping, Rachel weeping for her children and refusing to be comforted, because they are no more.'
Hos 13:16 They will fall by the sword; their little ones will be dashed to the ground, their pregnant women ripped open.
Ps 139:13-16 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.
Talitha Koum was founded to share alternatives to abortion through Jesus Christ. We hope to provide critical resources outside abortion clinics to include personal referrals to families praying to adopt. Resources to learn more and become equipped:
