Dear Messengers:
Last Wednesday at MOA was awesome! I encountered a young Believer named Isabel who poured out her heart. Despite her abject pain, Isabel is genuinely kind and authentic. I spoke True Identity unto my sister but I would be honored to have my daughters emulate her beautiful soul. My cellphone vibrated during our extended conversation. I later returned the unfamiliar number to hear a familiar voice. MayKao and I adopted six abandoned children almost seven years ago but Xiong [my oldest adoptive son] emulated The Prodigal Son due to formative apocalyptic abuse. Lk 15:20 pierced my heart but Xiong's words 'I love you Dad' melted it. Dear Isabel and Xiong – Jesus loves you and so do I.
Col 3:20-21 Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord. Fathers, do not embitter your children, or they will become discouraged.
1 Thess 2:7-8; 11-12 Instead, we were like young children among you. Just as a nursing mother cares for her children, so we cared for you. Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well. For you know that we dealt with each of you as a father deals with his own children, encouraging, comforting and urging you to live lives worthy of God, who calls you into his kingdom and glory.
Mt 19:26 Jesus looked at them and said, 'With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.'
Last Friday at the Minneapolis Jail was awesome! 'Doors' thematically repeated before we entered the Quad. Our plans to devour The Vine and the Branches were superseded by God. As we opened in prayer, my Spirit was grieved. Jerry shared 'Death surrounds me. I have nowhere to turn.' Ps 69:1-3 pierced my heart. I shared the full Gospel Message then we spoke about 'doors' – both doors that we must not open [sin] and doors that we must not close [relationship with Christ]. Jerry wept. I asked my brother 'What would prevent you from surrendering your life to Jesus Christ right now?' BOOM! The Holy Spirit reigned down upon us to shatter our 'prison doors'. Jerry fell prostrate in surrender to Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior. In Christ, Jason.
Gen 4:6-7 Then the Lord said to Cain, 'Why are you angry? Why is your face downcast? If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it.'
Mt 23:13 Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the door of the kingdom of heaven in people's faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to.
Acts 14:27 On arriving there, they gathered the church together and reported all that God had done through them and how he had opened a door of faith to the Gentiles.
Acts 16:25-26 About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone's chains came loose.
Rev 3:20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.
Our children are dying. I need your help to share Christ with the lost.
Dt 24:16 Parents are not to be put to death for their children, nor children put to death for their parents; each will die for their own sin.
