Dear Messengers:
Last Wednesday at MOA was awesome! You may remember Jack, the gentleman scourged by mental illness, methamphetamine abuse and profoundly distorted Identity who I befriended the week prior. Last Sunday, Jack messaged goodbye then chose death to end the pain. Without response, I prayed fervently then contacted appropriate parties. By Divine Providence, I found Jack at the Abbott Northwestern Hospital ICU. Upon arrival, he repeated 'I just want to die.' I cried out 'Jesus, I need you now.' Our heartfelt prayer was punctuated by Jer 29:11-14. BOOM! The Holy Spirit reigned down upon us. Gethsemane pierced my heart. The spiritual atmosphere was transfigured from despair to hope; from death to life. God used Michelle Bawek to save my life sixteen years ago and God used my brokenness to reach Jack. I spoke Destiny unto my brother – but 'the author of life' chose the words. Jack called me two minutes ago excited about MN Adult & Teen Challenge as per said conversation. And asked me to wash some dirty clothes. Beloved, Jesus has washed our feet.
Acts 3:15-16 You killed the author of life, but God raised him from the dead. We are witnesses of this. By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know was made strong. It is Jesus' name and the faith that comes through him that has completely healed him, as you can all see.
Jn 13:14-17 Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another's feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. Very truly I tell you, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.
Last Friday at the Minneapolis Jail was awesome! Stan's clandestine, cherry red ZR1 Corvette was sweet but the Green Bay Packers driving gloves clashed. Nathaneel stated 'I am Hebrew.' But Nathaneel's unstated, clandestine Black Hebrew Israelite persona was acrid. BHI believe African Americans are the true descendants from the tribe of Judah. Their beliefs are frequently quite racist. Most Black Hebrew Israelite sects deny Jesus Christ's deity. 'We believe that there is a distinction between God and Jesus of Nazereth [sic]. In particular, we believe that God is THE Supreme Being in the universe and that Jesus was merely a human being; a noteworthy prophet [Mt 21:11 ] but a human being nonetheless.' [cogasoc.org] BHI believe salvation is only possible by calling on the true name of Jesus in Hebrew, which is Yahshuah Ben Yah [Yahshuah the son of Yah]. 'You have to call upon him by his Yah given Hebrew name, as it states in Acts 4:12 no other name can be a substitute, no translation of his name. Only his true name given from Heaven which can be spoken in every language, is your key to salvation.' [hebrewisraelites.org] I prayed to be led by the Holy Spirit then asked 'Nathaneel, do you claim to be without sin?' The Pharisaical response grieved my heart. Beloved, we plant and water seeds but God nurtures them. Please pray.
1 Jn 1:8-10 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us.
Mt 23:27 Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean.
Our children are dying. I need your help to share Christ with the lost.
Dt 24:16 Parents are not to be put to death for their children, nor children put to death for their parents; each will die for their own sin.
