Dear Messengers:
Last Wednesday was awesome! I prayed hard during my morning run that the Holy Spirit would direct my steps to find my Divine Encounter. Although closed, my emergency patient brought along a young man named Jacob who was previously homeless. My Spirit knew. I shared my personal testimony in tears then handed this mere child my [Jer 29:11-13] bookmark. I explained the full Gospel Message then asked 'Jacob, what would prevent you from surrendering your life to Jesus Christ right now?' He replied 'This is so different. I don't know if I'm ready.' I prayed to be led by the Holy Spirit then declared 'Jacob, change can be scary but you are afraid that you will continue to sin.' He cried out 'That's it!' We revealed God's heart then I shared the Jesus Christ / life raft analogy. BOOM! The Holy Spirit reigned down upon us. Jacob shouted 'What must I do?' We dropped to the ground then laid hands upon our brother as he cried out to Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior. Amen.
Lk 10:25-28 On one occasion an expert in the law stood up to test Jesus. 'Teacher,' he asked, 'what must I do to inherit eternal life?' 'What is written in the Law?' he replied. 'How do you read it?' He answered, 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind; and, Love your neighbor as yourself.' 'You have answered correctly,' Jesus replied. 'Do this and you will live.'
Last Friday at the Minneapolis Jail was awesome! We began to explore The Life Book. Part One is a brief Old Testament synopsis – 'God's story before Jesus shows up on the scene.' More than half the gentlemen present were either Muslim or Chrislam [Christianity / Islam fusion]. Truth and Love. Jesus is 'truth' but 'Allah is the best of deceivers.' Although some scholars translate this verse as 'the best of planners', the word 'makara' means 'To practice deceit or guile or circumvention, practice evasion or elusion, to plot, to exercise art or craft or cunning, act with policy, practice stratagem.' [http://www.studyquran.co.uk/14_MIIM.htm] If 'Allah is the best of deceivers' then Islam is the best lie. In the Bible, 'God is love.' In the Qur'an, Allah has ninety-nine names but 'Allah is love' never appears. Beloved, if we truly love our Muslim brothers, we must share Jesus Christ [Truth and Love] with them. In Christ, Jason.
Jn 14:6 Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'
Surah 3:54 [Qur'an] 'But they were deceptive, and Allah was deceptive, for Allah is the best of deceivers.'
1 Jn 4:15-16 If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God. And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.
Our children are dying. I need your help to share Christ with the lost.
Dt 24:16 Parents are not to be put to death for their children, nor children put to death for their parents; each will die for their own sin.
