Dear Messengers:

Last Wednesday at MOA was awesome!  You may remember Ida, the elderly homeless woman I initially encountered last year, who shared painful memories fraught with generational dysfunction, drug addiction and abandonment.  Although Ida spoke about her fractured family, she embraced her identity as a child of God.  I asked why she had not responded to my texts.  She responded 'I don't check my phone cuz everybody forget about me.'  I verified her phone number and displayed a dozen texts.  We read 'Dear Ida: Jesus loves you and so do I!  In Christ, Jason.'  BOOM!  The Holy Spirit reigned down upon us!  We embraced; we wept.  In that moment, we became family.  Please pray that my sister in Christ attends Church with her [my] family this Sunday.

Gal 6:7-10 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked.  A man reaps what he sows.  Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.  Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.  Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.

Last Friday at the Minneapolis Jail was awesome!  We encountered a professed Christian named Andre.  But my Spirit was troubled.  Dennis shared an accidental homicide but Andre was indignant.  Andre doubted that God would forgive this 'unpardonable' sin but expected that God should forgive 'my little sins'.  I shared the full Gospel Message, emphasizing [Rom 3:23-24] and [Eph 2:8-9].  We confronted the murder and adultery in our hearts.  But alas, our time was done.  Dennis found peace through Christ Jesus while Andre found none.  But God nurtures our seeds planted.  In Christ, Jason.

Mt 5:21-22 You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, 'You shall not murder, and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.'  But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister will be subject to judgment.  Again, anyone who says to a brother or sister, 'Raca,' is answerable to the court.  And anyone who says, 'You fool!' will be in danger of the fire of hell.

Mt 5:27-28 You have heard that it was said, 'You shall not commit adultery.'  But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

Mt 7:1-5 Do not judge, or you too will be judged.  For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.  Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?  How can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plank in your own eye?  You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye.

Our children are dying.  I need your help to share Christ with the lost.

Dt 24:16 Parents are not to be put to death for their children, nor children put to death for their parents; each will die for their own sin.
