Dear Messengers:
Last Wednesday at MOA was awesome! During our worship at the clinic we sang 'O, it chases me down, fights 'til I'm found, leaves the ninety-nine. I couldn't earn it, I don't deserve it, still you give yourself away.' [Reckless Love by Cory Asbury] But upon arrival at MOA, I struggled to find my Divine Encounter. 'I planted [some] seed' but felt defeated as I ascended the stairway to rendezvous with our group. Jacob's Dream at Bethel suddenly pierced my heart. Hidden behind a pillar, I encountered a young homeless couple named Lele and Deshon. Lele cried out 'I was raped now Deshon won't touch me 'cause I'm dirty. I hit the meth just to cope.' [Lele was treated medically.] Deshon divulged 'I just left jail' but remains imprisoned spiritually. I prayed to be led by the Holy Spirit then spoke True Identity unto their lives. I shared Jesus Christ and granola bars then we confirmed our mutual Easter plans. Beloved, we plant and water seeds but God nurtures them. Please pray.
1 Cor 3:6-9 I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow. So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labor. For we are co-workers in God's service; you are God's field, God's building.
Last Friday at the Minneapolis Jail was awesome! Stan returned; pandemonium ensued. Adam argued against free will ad nauseam. Wesley ranted 'colorfully' about Child Protective Services. Jacob espoused Mormon apostasy – 'God was a man from another planet. We are spirit children.' We continued to redirect our conversation toward Christ Jesus. I shared the full Gospel Message but both Adam and Jacob appended good works unto salvation. I fervently reiterated the full Gospel Message, emphasizing Eph 2:8-9 then portrayed the Jesus Christ / lift raft analogy. I prayed to be led by the Holy Spirit then stared deep unto Rich's eyes. I declared 'By your own words, you were raised in the Church but are distant from Jesus. What would prevent you from surrendering your life to Jesus Christ right now?' BOOM! The Holy Spirit crashed down upon us. Rich dropped to the ground – then Jacob – both in surrender to Christ Jesus as personal Lord and Savior. In Christ, Jason.
Eph 2:8-9 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast.
Our children are dying. I need your help to share Christ with the lost.
Dt 24:16 Parents are not to be put to death for their children, nor children put to death for their parents; each will die for their own sin.
