Dear Messengers:

Last Wednesday at MOA was awesome!  Kathryn is a potent evangelist who shared 'I was feeling really incompetent at sharing the gospel when my neighbor gave me the book Share Jesus Without Fear last week.  Tonight I brought my Bible and planned to use their questions/Scripture/questions method.  Anthony was from Chicago but lived here with a friend.  He experienced many problems and wanted to return to Chicago but was broke.  Anthony cried out to God for help then found fifty dollars on the ground – the exact fare to Chicago.  He exclaimed 'I know God's been after me' then answered some questions and read aloud seven verses then explained what he thought each one meant.  He started out not knowing if he was going to heaven, but thinking he probably was because he did some good things.  After reading the verses, he clearly understand and said he believed it was time to surrender His life to God.  He said he believed God had sent me to him to share Jesus Christ.  Anthony prayed to accept Christ then I gave him a Bible and prayed for his job interview in Chicago Thursday morning and to find true purpose in life.  We just finished our prayers when his bus arrived.'

Today at Peavey Park was awesome!  The abject brokenness abounds but Jesus Christ is 'the author of life'.  Dailyn was consumed by marijuana at ten; she was devoured by heroin et al at fourteen.  But paternal rape since childhood cannot be numbed.  Dailyn screamed 'I was a cutter.  I am a cutter.  I felt in control if I could just hurt myself more than my dad hurt me.'  We shared our Father's Love to triage a father's holocaust.  We then declared True Identity as a child of God unto our sister scarred and scared.  We prayed earnestly – the Mount of Olives pierced my heart.  Beloved, our absence at Peavey Park condones Satan 'to steal and kill and destroy.'  'Feed my sheep.'

Act 3:15-16 You killed the author of life, but God raised him from the dead.  We are witnesses of this.  By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know was made strong.  It is Jesus' name and the faith that comes through him that has completely healed him, as you can all see.

Jn 10:9-10 I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved.  They will come in and go out, and find pasture.  The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

Last Friday at the Minneapolis Jail was awesome!  We perused scars.  Both wounding and healing.  Both Jesus' and ours.  'Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never harm me' is a perennial rhyme but our emotional wounds cut deeply.  Cain shared 'I was labeled a chameleon, color shifter and fraud because I had many different friends – punks, gangbangers and hippies.'  Cain's affable personality derived from horrific child abuse – he craved love where there was none.  We comforted our brother then encouraged Cain to share Jesus' love with those friends.  1 Cor 9:19-23 pierced our hearts.  Beloved, when we reveal our scars we can reveal the Great Physician.  In Christ, Jason.

Isa 53:5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.

Our children are dying.  I need your help to share Christ with the lost.

Dt 24:16 Parents are not to be put to death for their children, nor children put to death for their parents; each will die for their own sin.
