Dear Messengers:
Last Wednesday at MOA was awesome! One theme emerged during our worship and prayer – healing. Upon arrival at MOA, I spoke Identity unto a Believer named Sylvester then commissioned my brother to help share Jesus Christ during our God doG Outreach. During our conversation, I noticed a homeless woman literally glowing. Linda felt persecuted and abandoned but clearly suffered from mental health disorders. She pursued God but through both the Bible and the Qur'an. I shared the full Gospel Message, emphasizing 'I am has sent me to you' then shared Truth and Love. I presented the Jesus Christ / lift raft analogy then declared 'Jesus Christ stands before you but Satan lures you to the wrong boat. Jesus Christ loves you but Satan 'comes only to steal and kill and destroy.' Linda declared 'You shall have no other gods before me.' BOOM! The Holy Spirit reigned down upon us. Linda cried out to Christ Jesus as personal Lord and Savior then we prayed to be healed from the lies and mental health disorders. Linda was instantly lucid. 'I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.'
Ex 20:1-3 And God spoke all these words: 'I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. You shall have no other gods before me.'
Jn 10:9-10 I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
Last Friday at the Minneapolis Jail was awesome! While Stan and I shared Christ with gentlemen inside the Jail, our 'Church Ladies' shared Christ with 'the least of these' outside Harbor Light Center. Furthermore, these Messengers distributed StreetPax donated by an attorney friend. I wept when I read John's dedication. 'This StreetPax is a gift for you in fond and loving memory of my son Mike who tragically died homeless and far away from home on August 15th 2014 at the way-too-young age of 32. Even though he didn't have many financial resources, Mike would often go out of his way to offer food and help to those who had even less than he did. Mike had a heart as BIG as the great outdoors but he struggled with relationship and addiction issues, lost his path in life and sadly he eventually gave up all hope. May this StreetPax serve as a reminder to you that you are loved and cared about by FAR more people than you will EVER know! Also, that YOU truly are a Child of God and that you wouldn't be here on Earth if God didn't have Great things planned ahead for you in your life! Included in this StreetPax is a Handbook with tons of FREE resources available to help you find your path in life. May God Bless you and keep you safe! Don't ever give up hope for a better tomorrow!!! – Mike's Dad and family and the many, many friends of Mike.'
Suzi shared 'As we walked along blessing and praying for the men and few women waiting for their names to be called for a bed for the evening, I spotted an obese young man with very white skin, shoulder length hair and a few blemishes. He was sitting on the sidewalk looking down and dejected. I knelt down to introduce myself and ask if I could pray for him. He looked up with the face of a child shaking off fear. 'My name is Austin.' We talked, I prayed with him and shared God's love. He smiled a sweet, sincere smile. The man standing next to him said, 'I am his father and I have two daughters at another shelter. One of them has been going through cancer treatments and we got evicted. This is our first night on the streets and it's pretty scary.' Please pray.' In Christ, Jason.
Our children are dying. I need your help to share Christ with the lost.
Dt 24:16 Parents are not to be put to death for their children, nor children put to death for their parents; each will die for their own sin.
