Dear Messengers:
Last Wednesday at MOA was awesome! We corporately prayed at the clinic to be 'filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit' to 'love one another'. I encountered a homeless Believer named Rachel who desperately needed prayer. As we squatted upon the floor, another woman named Latosha approached. 'Are you praying? I can see Jesus amongst you.' As our triad prayed, Andre approached. 'Are you guys praying? I can see Jesus amongst you.' [Verbatim] We convened Church upon the floor at the MOA Transit Center – we will reconvene at Bethel's Rock Church with my family this Sunday. 'For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.' Amen.
Jn 13:34-35 A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.
Mt 18:20 For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.
During Tent America 2018, I encountered a homeless Native American gentleman named George on Friday at Mears Park in St Paul. I shared the full Gospel Message then my personal testimony. George was so very close to surrender but needed to count 'The Cost of Being a Disciple'. I prayed for George throughout the night then returned to Mears Park on Saturday but he was gone. Later, we shared Christ at the Hiawatha Tent City then I returned to our State Capitol tent. George emerged. He had walked six miles then waited several hours until I returned. During that walk, another gentleman pulled over to shout 'I have been looking for you. I have a job for you to do.' I declared 'This is more than our answered prayer. This is a picture that Jesus Christ is pursuing you. Jesus has been looking for you. Jesus has a job for you to do.' BOOM! The Holy Spirit exploded upon us. George shrieked then dropped to the ground in surrender to Jesus Christ. [Pictured above.] Amen.
Last Friday at the Minneapolis Jail was awesome! We encountered an articulate Native American gentleman named Preston. 'I was born on the 'Res' [American Indian reservation] and worshiped Wakan Tanka [The Great Spirit].' Preston felt compelled to read the Bible to find God. But cultural wounds from American Indian Boarding Schools compounded by paternal abandonment hardens hearts. We confronted our unforgiveness then explored psychological projection [our earthly father's attributes upon our Heavenly Father]. I shared the full Gospel Message then unpacked the Jesus Christ / life raft analogy. I shared George's personal testimony [above] to shift paradigm. Preston lamented 'I desperately sought God but stumbled about blindfolded. The blindfold has fallen. What must I do?' BOOM! The Holy Spirit reigned down upon us. Preston fell to the ground to behold Christ Jesus. In Christ, Jason.
Acts 9:17-18 Then Ananias went to the house and entered it. Placing his hands on Saul, he said, 'Brother Saul, the Lord – Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you were coming here – has sent me so that you may see again and be filled with the Holy Spirit.' Immediately, something like scales fell from Saul's eyes, and he could see again.
Lk 10:25-28 On one occasion an expert in the law stood up to test Jesus. 'Teacher,' he asked, 'what must I do to inherit eternal life?' 'What is written in the Law?' he replied. 'How do you read it?' He answered, 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind; and, Love your neighbor as yourself.' 'You have answered correctly,' Jesus replied. 'Do this and you will live.'
Our children are dying. I need your help to share Christ with the lost.
Dt 24:16 Parents are not to be put to death for their children, nor children put to death for their parents; each will die for their own sin.
