Bloomington Chiropractor | Second Visit

On your report visit we explain what we found and how we may be able to help you.

Report of Findings

At your Report of Findings, Dr. Fredericks will explain what is wrong, what can be done to help and how long it may take. If yours is a Chiropractic case, a program of specific chiropractic adjustments will be recommended to help improve spinal function and nervous system integrity.

Treatments

Chiropractic adjustments add motion to spinal joints that are stuck and not moving properly. These help restore spinal bones to their proper motion and position. Sometimes, Dr. Fredericks may use a quick thrust with his hands while different situations may require a slow, constant pressure. Dr. Fredericks uses special tables or the force of gravity to help reposition spinal structures. Adjusting approaches are modified to safely help newborns, children, pregnant moms, seniors and others with special needs who want a natural approach to better health. Some adjusting techniques shift the gas and fluids in the joint, making a slight popping sound. The sound has little meaning and can vary with each patient and each visit. There are hundreds of ways to adjust the spine. Dr. Fredericks has selected several approaches and become highly skilled in their delivery. This makes your Chiropractic adjustments remarkably safe. Because of its safety and success, Chiropractic care is the most popular form of natural health care.

Exercise Rehabilitation

Dr. Fredericks has a clinical emphasis in exercise rehabilitation to more permanently correct abnormal biomechanics and posture. At our clinic, we incorporate both Cybex machines and free weights, Thera-Bands, Swiss balls and more recently, Whole Body Vibration (WBV) plates.

Dr. Fredericks Asks some important questions of interest to Bloomington residents - Chiropractor Bloomington Dr. Fredericks Asks...

How long does it take to form a bone spur?
Many who begin chiropractic care think their problem happened "last week when you bent over funny." But pictures of the spine tell a different story. Chiropractors know it can take your body years to deposit the calcium necessary to form a bone spur. It's your body's response to stress due to gravity or joint malfunction. And chiropractic care can help.
Which organs are extra?
You don't have any spare parts. Sure, we can survive without our tonsils, appendix, gall bladder and several other tissues, but each serves a purpose. We chiropractors recognize this. So the chiropractic approach I use in Bloomington is to reduce nerve interferences to the control and regulation of every tissue, organ and system of your body.
